Lumicity is helping an early stage startup looking to hire for founding electrical engineers. The team is considering exceptional students still in university that are looking for real world experience, engineers a few years out of university, and senior EEs with end-to-end development experience.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience with end to end PCB design and working in machine shop/fabrication settings - you will be doing a lot of prototyping!

The team are working on a revolutionary surveillance platform that will protect the US and countries around the world. This will be a verticalized business, so they are working on much more. They are gaining serious customer demand despite only being a few years old as a business which is why they are now aggressively looking to grow their HW group.

Qualifications

  • PCB Design (KiCad or Altium strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers).
  • Hands-on skills in soldering and wiring for prototypes and rework, and board bring-up.
  • Portfolio of independent projects (strongly preferred)
