Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, integration, and

deployment of ML-based perception software within our ADAS stack. This individual will

work closely with other ML engineers, embedded software developers, and systems teams

to bring production-ready solutions into Lucid’s vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement real-time perception software using machine learning

models.

  • Write production-grade C++ code aligned with MISRA/AUTOSAR standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
  • Own deployment and optimization of ML models on embedded platforms.
  • Debug and resolve static analysis violations and performance bottlenecks.
  • Lead system-level integration, validation, and on-vehicle testing.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across ML, perception, systems, and

safety.Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in C++/Python software development.
  • Strong foundation in software integration, real-time operating systems (QNX,

Ubuntu), and embedded development.

  • Experience working in and contributing to large and complex codebases.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or

a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in engineering or computer science.
  • Deep understanding of deep learning deployment pipelines and GPU inference.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Drive Orin/Xavier.
  • Knowledge of ROS, CAN tools, and Automotive Ethernet protocols.
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and debugging.
  • Strong familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
