We are currently seeking a skilled Manager responsible for leading team of engineers of the ADAS / Autonomous Driving team for validation of parking & viewing functions. This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of successfully bringing new automotive (ADAS) systems into production.

Your Role:

o Manage, motivate & lead team of validation engineers who are responsible for testing & releasing hardware/software components related to ADAS/AD parking & viewing functions such as Parking Assist, Automated Parking, Remote Controlled Parking, Driver Monitoring Systems, Surround View Camera Display, Blind Spot Camera Display etc.

o Develop, plan, execute test & validation plans with team of validation engineers for confirming functional & performance requirements, data analysis and feature validation tests while ensuring traceability requirements

o Facilitate and align related cross-functional technical teams such as Infotainment, functional safety, powertrain, cybersecurity, homologation, and ADAS/AD system & software development teams, feature owners and program managers

o Work closely with Tier 1 suppliers, lead and support statement of work, contracts; provide execution oversight

o Evaluate industry standard testing tools, evaluate inhouse developed tools as well as develop necessary scripts and methods to establish testing toolchain. Mentor & support the team to develop test automation with industry tools such as CAPL scripting

o Contribute to the definition and build-up of our test vehicle fleet, test benches and calibration installations

o Contribute to system architecture and the related validation tests on component

o Leverage state-of-the-art processes and tools for architecture, requirements, test plans & results to work in a highly interactive, collaborative environment

o Work closely with component owners (USS, Parking Controller, Surround View & DMS Camera) for the ADAS Parking & Viewing functions, contribute the component requirement development

o Investigate root causes of component or system level failures; follow on and support resolution of issue tickets

Expectations:

o More than 8 years of automotive experience with at least 6 years of experience in developing & testing hardware/software systems related to ADAS or AD automotive features for mass production

o Strong experience in development and execution of validation test plans for ADAS/AD parking & viewing features, and close collaboration with infoT team

o Expert of few of the ADAS testing/validation tools & methods such as Vector (CANoe, CANape and CAPL), test benches; very strong understanding of CAN and Ethernet

o Programming skills related to automation, results post-processing etc. (e.g. Python, C/C++, MatLab/Simulink)

o Capability and creativity to successfully complete projects with unconventional ideas in highly constrained, innovative startup environments

o Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) & ownership mindset

Advantageous:

o Proficiency with agile development tools and environments (Jira, Jama, …)

o Previous experience with ADAS Parking Assist and/or Viewing Systems at a Tier 1 or OEM

o Proven record of leadership and mentorship to team of engineers

o Experience with test automation, with Diagnostics and UDS protocol

o Experience with Image Signal Processing pipeline from Camara, and computer vision

o Experience with HIL, SIL or system (vehicle) simulation

o Broad experience with various ADAS/AD systems, including mechanical, electrical and software components

o Familiarity with automotive regulations and functional safety standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262)

Requirements:

o BS minimum in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar and 8 years of engineering experience in the automotive industry

OR

o MS minimum in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar and 6 years of engineering experience in the automotive industry
