Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Infotainment

We are currently seeking a Sr. Software development Engineer in test (SDET) to join our automation team. The position requires an experienced professional with a background in test automation framework development and deployment. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can do attitude and approaches his/her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Role
- Develop and maintain Test automation framework.
- Develop and execute automated/manual test cases and perform bug tracking and management.
- Understand user features and create test plans and test cases for assigned features.
- Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution.
- Be a customer advocate and work closely with the team to ensure our testing strategy and environments resemble closely to customer use cases.
- Drive validation of high quality, high performance, and production ready software
- Ensure quality from low-level software to end applications
- Validate software in simulation and on vehicle
- Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level
- Design, maintain and execute automated tests, including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing
- Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage
Qualifications
- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience.
- 5+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience.
- 5+ years experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, C++, including object-oriented design.
- Relevant experience in field of automotive.
- Experience in test automation for Linux , QNX, Android OS, and/or iOS.
- Experience with continuous integration systems.
- Highly technical, organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results.
Educations:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field.
