Sr Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Exterior Perceived Quality
Our Global Supplier Industrialization & Quality Group is seeking a highly motivated and passionate candidate that will ensure suppliers achieve the desired Perceived Quality for the next generation of programs at Lucid. This role will coordinate the work streams between the Industrialization and Craftsmanship Teams to ensure proper part maturity for Interior and Exterior parts.
You Will:
- Bring the subjectivity of perceived quality into objectivity to ensure proper industrialization.
- Collaborate with Craftsmanship and Design Quality on sensorial targets for Interior and Exterior part development.
- Collaborate with the Design Studio, Design Engineering, Dimensional and Advanced Manufacturing teams to ensure perceived quality targets are achievable from an industrialization perspective.
- Develop standards and design guidelines to ensure alignment between Craftsmanship requirements and supplier capabilities during sourcing.
- Develop and execute supplier industrialization strategies to achieve color harmony according to program timeline.
- Provide guidance to Industrialization team to ensure suppliers can consistently deliver Lucid perceived quality specifications. This involves building an understanding of the manufacturing processes and capabilities of Lucid's supply base.
- Provide periodic reports and updates of AAR and E-Cube events to Leadership.
- Act as the liaison between the Industrialization and Craftsmanship teams, ensuring proper part maturity.
- Build KPI dashboards that enable informed executive-level decisions.
You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, materials, or industrial engineering.
- Master's degree in engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Perceived Quality/ Craftsmanship, Design Quality, and/or Supplier Industrialization Engineering for Exterior and Interior surface relevant parts.
- At least 3 years of hands-on APQP and PPAP project management experience.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and drawings.
- Demonstrated experience as a detail-oriented person with design sensitivity for Exterior & Interior Components and Systems.
- Comprehensive understand of product quality lifecycle stages and associated quality gates.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively, leverage data, and innovate solutions.
- Demonstrated adaptability, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a strong problem-solving orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on timely delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), Zoom, and other cloud-based services.
- Ability to travel 25%-75% on a short term or long-term basis to Lucid Motors and supplier sites globally on a short notice.
