The Role:
Own end to end system validation of vehicle software including but not limited to ADAS, performance attributes, infotainment, comfort, safety, security, charging, thermal and HVAC system, Functional Safety, and HV & LV electrical systems
Identify, document, and manage system test & validation requirements at vehicle level
Drive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between quality assurance, validation, development, systems engineering and product teams
Create & amend manual/automated test cases to perform System validation
Align and support SQA processes and activities within functional areas such as System, Hardware and Safety
Troubleshoot systems/sub-systems/component using lab and measurement equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters as well as tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc.
Support manufacturing and service teams with troubleshooting.
Identify gaps and areas for improvements and drive to a solution
Mentor and guide junior team members


You Bring:

  • 4+ Years of Automotive testing experience
  • 6+ years with hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases supporting validation of large-scale programs & products.
  • Experience task and requirements management tools like JIRA and JAMA
  • A proven track record of driving organizational change
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodology as well as waterfall methodology
  • Experience with software development best practices
  • Knowledge of ASPICE, APQP, ISO26262, FMVSS and SAE standards and practices.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, Vector and/or Peak CAN based tools

Advantageous:

  • Experience with languages like Python, C, C++ is a plus

Education Requirements:

  • BS Minimum in an Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or similar)
