Technical Project Manager, Low Voltage Harness

We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager for the Low Voltage Design team. You will work with a team of talented engineers in support of the motor & gearbox development efforts at Lucid. You will be managing multiple scheduling activities for simultaneous projects. You will work closely with our Low Voltage, EE Architecture, and Software teams to lead the design efforts and balance the utilization of all of engineers to work together to accomplish projects within budget constraints and delivery timing.
Role
- Create and maintain detailed Gantt charts of multiple design projects
- Track progress and encourage team work to hit each milestone on time
- Interface with the test department to keep the validation program on-time for start of vehicle production
- Utilize JIRA to communicate engineering tasks and progress
- Utilize Confluence and other tools to communicate critical information to the teams
- Provide regular progress updates to management and the executive staff
- Lead scope, schedule, and budget for new prototype builds
- Provide technical guidance to solve engineering challenges with mechanical, electrical and/or software systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience in Engineering, 3+ years should be in the automotive industry
- Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office
Advantageous
- Extensive working knowledge of low voltage vehicle systems like wire harness and the fundamental engineering principles behind these systems a big plus
- Previous project management or program management experience a plus
- Experience working with MS Project, Gantt Charts or similar
- Great organizational skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced startup environment with frequent prioritization adjustments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- MBA or PMP Certifications a plus.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Bay Area: $115,000 - $165,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
