We are currently seeking a Sr System Software Validation Engineer in our Software Quality Engineering team. This requires an experienced professional with a background in software quality assurance and system validation. The ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Own end-to-end system validation of Infotainment software
  • Drive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between quality assurance, validation, development, systems engineering, and product teams
  • Create & amend manual/automated test cases to perform System Validation
  • Troubleshoot systems/sub-systems/components using lab and measurement equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters as well as tools such as VectorCANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc.
  • Identify gaps and areas for improvements and drive to a solution.
  • Manage test environments and equipment
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotiveinfotainment testing
  • 2+ years of automation experience in automating application testing and/or tool development
  • Strong knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet)
  • Experience in analyzing the logs to root cause the issue.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with Vector and/or Peak CAN based tools

Preferred:

  • Experience with languages like Python, C, C++ is a plus
  • Experience task and requirements management tools like JIRA and JAMA

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
  • (preferred) Master's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
