We are currently seeking a Sr.Software Engineer for our ADAS / Autonomous Driving team. This position requires a strong background in automotive simulation, modeling and testing.

You will:

  • Create simulation pipeline for rapid iteration and validation of the AD Software
  • Integrate simulated scenarios and logged data replay with various closed-loop test environments like Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-loop systems
  • Scale and automate the simulation infrastructure to run parameters sweeps and identify scenarios of interest to make the system safe and robust
  • Accelerate verification and validation by establishing data pipelines and conduct analysis to track key performance metrics across software releases
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and testers to meet and build out the necessary simulation features

Qualifications:

  • Experience in C++ and/or Python
  • Willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of Linux and Networking


Advantageous:

  • Efficient use of Linux scripting and automation capabilities
  • Knowledge with descriptive interfaces like XML, YAML
  • Background in sensor and actuator modeling
  • Real-time performance optimization with and without multi-threaded programming techniques
  • Background in vehicle dynamics or willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal and Unity, or automotive simulators (e.g. VTD, CarMaker)
  • Industry experience in writing C++ programs or Experience working on/developing Simulators

Education:

  • BS or Master in the areas of Computer Science/Engineering or similar disciplines
  • Prefer 3+ year of work experience or PhD in a related field
