Role Overview:

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Manager, Integration & Automation to lead and scale our enterprise integration landscape, leveraging Workato and other best-in-class platforms. This role combines technical integration architecture expertise with strong leadership and business acumen to accelerate automation, streamline business processes, and ensure seamless connectivity across enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will own the integration strategy, lead a high-performing team, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that drive business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

Integration Architecture & Strategy:

  • Define and drive the enterprise integration strategy to scale Lucid's IT ecosystem, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance integrations.
  • Architect and implement API-driven, event-based integrations across ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other business-critical applications.
  • Establish governance frameworks to manage APIs, data flow, and automation standards.

Automation & Process Optimization:

  • Develop and scale automation solutions across departments using Workato to enhance business process efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement end-to-end automation that eliminates manual effort and improves data accuracy.
  • Lead the adoption of low-code/no-code automation approaches to empower business users.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of integration developers and automation specialists.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high quality.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Acumen:

  • Partner closely with Business, IT, and Engineering teams to understand business processes, pain points, and requirements.
  • Translate complex business needs into technical integration solutions that deliver measurable business value.
  • Advocate for automation adoption and educate stakeholders on the benefits of integrated processes.

Compliance, Security & Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards in all integration and automation initiatives.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for error handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting.

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in integration architecture, automation, and enterprise applications.
  • 5+ years of experience managing high-performing teams in integration and automation domains.

Technical Expertise:

  • Deep expertise in Workato and other integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of API management, REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other enterprise applications (SAP, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation frameworks and RPA technologies.

Business Acumen & Strategic Vision:

  • Strong understanding of business processes across multiple functions (HR, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
  • Ability to align integration and automation strategies with business objectives to drive value.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior business and IT leaders.

Project & People Leadership:

  • Demonstrated success in leading complex integration projects from inception to delivery.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical talent.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs related to integration platforms.

Process Governance & Compliance:

  • Strong knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to implement and enforce best practices to ensure secure and compliant integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workato Automation Pro/Architect certification or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-based process automation and data pipelines.
  • Experience driving digital transformation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
