We are currently seeking a Project Manager, Retail Operations to join our collaborative Retail Operations team and play a pivotal role in the expansion of our physical, retail Studios and Service Centers. This is a hybrid role, onsite in our Newark, CA HQ (SF Bay area).

The Project Manager, Retail Operations will drive aspects of the expansion process by supporting Retail Operations in areas that will include new store openings, facilities, and ongoing administrative support of our existing locations.

The ideal candidate for this role is detail oriented, flexible, comfortable working with tight deadlines, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and excited to play a hands-on role in the launch and continuous operational improvement efforts of Lucid's Studios and Service Centers.

The Role

  • Support multiple, complex projects concurrently.
  • Lead operational project team meetings and ensure follow-up of action items in support of new store openings and Playbook development. Resolve cross-functional issues at project level.
  • Hands on involvement with new store set up to ensure stores are opened effectively and efficiently.
  • Coordinate all activities to prepare stores for a smooth turnover and disseminate information to key departments.
  • Responsible for holding internal and external stakeholders accountable for deliverables.
  • Travel as needed to review site readiness and manage onsite setup, partnering closely with Construction Managers and Regional Operations Managers on site turnover and closeout of punch lists.
  • Ownership of the Retail Operations Playbook - identify areas of improvement within operations process, and policy and take the lead cross-functionally to improve efficiency. Align and optimize standard operating procedures across current and new stores in order to achieve consistency across all stores.
  • Perform postmortem reports upon completion of each project; evaluate the success of each project and determine best practices.
  • Act as the liaison between corporate teams and retail stores on key deliverables and communication.
  • Own or support administrative functions of the team, including PO and invoice management, document tracking and updating, supply management, etc.
  • Special projects and ongoing operational support to stores as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related work experience, including project management, retail operations, and/or retail store experience. New store opening experience a plus
  • Experience managing complex projects with a high level of organization and attention to detail and proven skills in problem solving and team building
  • Track record of success in developing relationships with stakeholders, working collaboratively, and leveraging influence to drive initiatives
  • Ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong written, oral and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
  • Ability to read construction drawings and design renderings preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable discipline preferred
  • Enthusiastic about the future of automotive luxury and sustainable mobility
