Program Manager, Sales Training Content
The Program Manager, Sales Training Content will create and execute the development of training content for Lucid's sales teams. Working closely with the Instructional Design (ID) team, this role will help ensure that training materials align with company strategies, sales processes, and instructional best practices. The Program Manager reports to the Head of Sales Training and plays a key role in maintaining content accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness.
This is an onsite position located in Newark, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Management
- Assist and lead the development and maintenance of training content related to the Lucid way of selling, product and industry knowledge, sales processes and tools, and Lucid Financial services products.
- Ensure training materials remain up-to-date, accurate, and reflective of evolving company strategies, product updates, and industry trends.
- Support new hire and ongoing sales training programs through the development of instructional content.
Collaboration with Instructional Design
- Work closely with the ID team to translate raw content into structured learning materials, ensuring alignment with best practices under the successive approximation model.
- Contribute to the design of engaging learning experiences across multiple formats, including eLearning, in-person, and virtual training.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as a key liaison for Sales Training collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and other departments to source accurate information.
- Maintain visibility into interdepartmental dependencies to ensure training content is comprehensive and seamlessly integrated.
Content Review & Continuous Improvement
- Support the regular review and updating of training materials based on stakeholder feedback, sales performance insights, and market changes.
- Implement feedback loops with sales teams and other stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of training content.
Specialized Training Support
- Assist in developing content for product launches, sales initiatives, and key training programs.
- Support content needs for Lucid Financial Services and other partner programs to ensure alignment with training objectives.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Sales Training on content development progress, updates, and feedback.
- Work with the sales training leadership team to identify content gaps and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 3-5years of experience in training content development, sales operations, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in training content development, sales operations, or a related field.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and HR.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging training materials.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and best practices.
- Experience collaborating with Instructional Designers and Learning & Development teams.
- Understanding of sales training, sales processes, and strategies.
- Experience with eLearning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability to stay informed on product updates, market trends, and training best practices.
- CliftonStrengths, DiSC, Instructional Design certification strongly preferred
