Overview:

Lucid Vehicles is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in secure systems. The successful candidate will focus on developing and integrating bootloaders, secure elements, secure storage, and NFC technology, with a preference for candidates who have experience in NFC and wireless charger integrated solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement bootloaders for secure embedded systems.
  • Integrate and manage secure elements and secure storage solutions to protect sensitive data.
  • Develop and optimize NFC functionality for automotive applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NFC with wireless charging solutions.
  • Ensure that all security-related software meets performance, security, and reliability standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security best practices and coding standards.
  • Debug and troubleshoot security-related software issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in secure systems, NFC, and wireless charging technologies.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in embedded software development with a focus on secure systems.
  • Strong knowledge of bootloaders, secure elements, and secure storage technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with NFC technology and its application in secure systems.
  • Familiarity with wireless charging integration is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Experience with CAN communication protocols.
  • Experience with security protocols, cryptographic algorithms, and secure communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded development environments is a plus.
  • Understanding of automotive security standards and regulations is a plus
