We are currently seeking an experience Social Creative Director to leads and oversee the creative aspects of the company's social media marketing efforts. This person develops and executes creative strategies that engage the target audience, enhance brand visibility, and drive social media growth. This person oversees the creation of impactful and memorable social media experiences that contribute to the company's branding, marketing objectives, and customer engagement.

The Role:

  • Oversees the development of visual assets, including graphics, images, videos, and animations, for social media platforms
  • Ensures that visual content maintains brand consistency and adheres to established guidelines
  • Generates creative ideas for social media campaigns, content, and posts that resonate with the target audience
  • Translates marketing objectives into compelling visual and written content
  • Collaborates with marketing and social media teams to develop creative strategies aligned with overall marketing and business goals
  • Defines the brand's social media creative direction, tone, and visual identity
  • Leads the creative planning and execution of social media campaigns, including hashtag campaigns, contests, and user-generated content initiatives
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly
  • Develops strategies to foster community engagement, including responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms
  • Encourages user-generated content and community participation
  • When and where required, will also oversee the production process of the visual assets, interacting with other creatives, producers, editorial and distribution team members.
  • Recommends and implements best practices on all platforms
  • Leads with a “maximum impact” mindset to have the brand represented on each platform the best way possible, both for brand image and business impact.
  • Identifies emerging opportunities—platforms, channels, activations.
  • Assists the international territories in establishing a strong brand presence.


  • 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience;
  • Experience managing a cross-functional internal team, external vendors, agencies and resources
  • Skilled in managing a high volume of creative and content
  • Portfolio of proven brand-defining campaign concepts
  • Versed in all aspects of creative campaign production
  • Act as a champion of Lucid brand standards in all aspects of creative work
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize a high volume of projects and activities under tight timelines
  • Organization and attention to detail with strong project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial-minded with a passion for a fast-paced, high growth environment
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
  • California (Bay Area) - $108,000 - $130,000 per year
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
