Technical Program Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead and drive technical initiatives in SAP S/4HANA for our Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams. This role will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring successful implementation, integration, and enhancement of SAP solutions to support business operations and strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP S/4HANA, technical program management, and cross-functional collaboration. They must be adept at translating business requirements into technical solutions while managing project timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
You Will:
- Program & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain business teams and IT, ensuring alignment on SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
- Technical Leadership: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to best practices.
- Project Execution: Manage SAP-related technical projects from initiation to completion, including scoping, planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
- Project Methodologies: Apply appropriate project planning methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) to manage SAP project lifecycles effectively.
- Business Impact & ROI Analysis: Evaluate and report on the business impact, ROI, and overall effectiveness of projects, programs, and portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline business processes using SAP S/4HANA and related technologies.
- Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA modules across functional areas and with third-party applications.
- Performance & Reporting: Develop and present KPIs, dashboards, and executive reports that measure the success and strategic contribution of SAP initiatives.
- Project Management Tools: Utilize Jira, Confluence, Clarity PPM, and other project management software to track progress, manage backlogs, document decisions, and report project statuses.
- Issue Resolution: Work closely with business users and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and provide ongoing system support.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all SAP projects comply with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, IT Project Management, or a similar role in an SAP environment.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, or Supply Chain modules preferred).
- Strong understanding of SAP integrations, configurations, and best practices in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and coordinate with development teams.
- Experience managing complex SAP projects using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Expertise in evaluating and reporting project, program, and portfolio business impact, ROI, and alignment with strategic initiatives.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Confluence, Clarity PPM, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Experience in the adoption and application of project management best practices.
- SAP certifications in S/4HANA, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain.
- Experience with SAP EWM, IBP, TM, or PP-DS modules.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori, ABAP development, or BTP extensions is a plus.
- Background in automotive, manufacturing, or high-volume production industries.
