We are currently seeking a Physical Security Supervisor to join our Lucid Motors Security team. This position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record of excellent customer service and protection of people and property. The position will plan and direct the security function at multiple facilities under the direction of the Security Manager. The Security Supervisor will have an area of accountability in management of site security services, emergency response, investigations, communications, and team development.

You Will:

  • Provide supervision and scheduling for both proprietary and contracted security services
  • Responsible for understanding, maintaining, and using all security and fire-life safety systems (access control, video surveillance, alarm monitoring)
  • Responsible for measuring contract deliverables of the security vendor
  • Interact and provide security training with all site business units
  • Coordinates relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement
  • Responsible responding to emergency incidents and providing medical aid
  • Coordinates cross-functional training with Emergency Response team
  • Responsible for management of the lock & key system
  • Will work with the Security Manager to develop policy, procedures, processes.
  • Ensure protection of employees, physical assets, intellectual properties, and private information.
  • Investigates criminal activity, thefts, accidents, and employee misconduct.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with minimum of 2 years’ experience; with at least 1 year with specific and demonstrated experience in similar role.
  • Preferred security experience includes law enforcement or military experience with honorable discharge.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must have or ability to obtain a valid, certified Arizona Unarmed Security Guard license issued by the Department of Public Safety Licensing Unit.
  • Valid Arizona Driver’s license and dependable means of transportation.
  • Proven safe driving record.
  • First Aid/CPR/ AED certification required or ability to obtain 3 months.
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions.
  • Ability to be On-Call 24/7.
  • High degree of care and awareness to prevent physical injuries.
  • Emotional control, consistent professionalism, and dependability.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office software.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and special events.
  • See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
  • Efficient and effective reporting skills.
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to carry out foot patrols within interior and exterior.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
