In this role you will work with the End of Line Manufacturing team helping to assist in the processing of vehicles through testing and calibrations. This role will focus on tracking both vehicles on the line and off the line, to ensure that electrical defects are getting repaired, and necessary testing routines are getting performed to minimize repair time needed once off the assembly line.
You Will:
- Monitor Quality Metrics on DSA Testing performed on the assembly line
- Assist in Electrical repairs identified on vehicles on the assembly line
- Help Maintain Test Equipment such as Cables, MFT’s, and Test Blocks used for Vehicle Testing
- Assist in process deviations required to complete vehicle with minimal impact on production build objectives. Assisting on running diagnostic routines individually when there are issues completing routines successfully in implemented DSA test plans
- Maintain Spare Parts needed for Electrical Testing
- Validate new DSA test releases as well as new Vehicle software by coordinating testing through End of Line
- Audit Wheel Alignment of vehicles by sampling Production Vehicles to meet weekly quotas
- Use reporting tools like Prodis Insight or Prodis Control to review and monitor testing test history and performance
- Work with engineering teams to provide trace files / PCAP files to troubleshoot failure modes
You Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of Vehicle 12V Architecture and Vehicle Diagnostics
- Proficiency in making electrical repairs (splicing wires, fixing / replacing damaged terminals, using a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical defects)
- Proficiency in reading electrical wiring diagrams
- Must be a Lucid Employee actively holding Jr. Repair Technician job title for a minimum of 6 months
- Good standing performance, including attendance below Written Warning level within active 12-month period
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Must have a valid driver’s license in the U.S
