The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for contributing to the hands-on production & quality of Lucid Motors' world-class vehicles. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have the ability to work with Dimensional Control engineers, Production & Quality Control and cross functional team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships within the company.
You Will:
- Analyze and follow up Control Plan data (Dimensional, SPC, Joining).
- Complete process mapping and support on Reaction plans (ICA, Campaigns, clean point validation)
- Provide daily Control Plan and KPI reports
- Work on achieving metrics for continuous improvement Quality, Delivery & Scrap
- Work closely with end users to help report issues, lead project deliverables and provide status and progress reports
- Communicate KPI Dashboards requirements from department leadership.
- Escalate urgent issues and prioritize business needs
- Develop reports periodically for management.
- Act as the primary contact for all Fit and Finish relevant issues in BIW area facilities.
- Train end users for newly implemented processes.
- Assist with defining the objectives of improvements, new processes, trials, design of experiments, GR&R.
You Bring:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Understands basic functionality of Manufacturing Systems
- Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and understand Operator Work Instructions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and people skills, comfortable presenting ideas and issues to peer groups and leaders.
- Positive energy and attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and remotely, if necessary.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, have good initiative, be committed, and be quality focused.
- Flexibility to support any shift including day, night and swing shifts, as needed. Weekend and holiday work may be required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
