Jr. Manufacturing Technician New
We are currently seeking a Jr. Manufacturing Technician for our Powertrain department. This position requires an experienced professional with relevant experience in one of the following areas: battery modules, battery packs, invertors, chargers, stators, rotors or e-motors. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
You Will:
- Day to day coverage of production line, including support for rapid response of out-of-control processes.
- Troubleshoot and repair Non-Conforming Material (NCM), components or systems.
- Support implementation of process changes to improve process and product yield.
- Use a range of hand tools in the assembly powertrain products.
- Execute testing of powertrain components utilizing equipment such as CHROMA, AVL, Labview, TestStand.
- Build and commission fixtures.
You Bring:
- 1-2 years experience working within automotive or manufacturing.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with the use of a variety of mechanical and electronic hand tools (multi-meters, oscilloscope, soldering, wire strippers, torque guns, etc).
- Skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access, etc).
- Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
