We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our Accessories team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the development of innovative vehicle accessories, supporting both current and future vehicle programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Manufacturing, and Quality to bring creative and functional accessory solutions to life.

The Role:

Support the design and development of interior and exterior vehicle accessories (e.g., roof racks, floor mats, cargo solutions, lighting kits).

Assist in benchmarking competitor products and analyzing trends in the automotive accessories market.

Create and update CAD models, drawings, and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

Participate in prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of components and data.

Contribute to cost, weight, and sustainability optimization efforts.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX, or similar).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Passion for automotive design and user-focused innovation.

Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.

Advantageous:

Previous internship or project experience in automotive or consumer product development.

Familiarity with vehicle packaging, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Interest in personalization and lifestyle trends in the automotive space.
