We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fleet Operations Intern to support our European fleet operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and operational strategy within a dynamic and fast-paced automotive environment. The intern will work closely with the Fleet and Service teams to monitor fleet performance, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a student eager to explore the intersection of operations, analytics, and mobility management.


The Role:

Fleet Performance Monitoring:

  • Analyze vehicle usage, maintenance records, and cost data to identify inefficiencies.
  • Support in preparing performance reports and tracking downtime trends.

Fleet Maintenance and Scheduling:

  • Collaborate with the Service Organization to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist in tracking vehicle condition and scheduling replacements or remarketing transitions.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Leverage tools to assess fleet utilization and highlight improvement areas.
  • Contribute to detailed management reports and dashboards.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Help maintain records for inspections, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support in tracking and processing fines/penalties and damage claims

Fleet Optimization:

  • Contribute to optimization strategies for fleet sizing and utilization.
  • Assist in monitoring usage patterns and forecasting future needs.

Deliverables:

  • Ensure accurate fleet asset data entry and consistency
  • Maintain and update the Forecast Report for Sales, Service, and Marketing
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a ticketing system for fleet-related requests.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in International Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Eagerness to work in a team setting and contribute to collaborative problem-solving.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
