Role Overview:

The role is designed to drive strategic business growth for LSI’s ESG and Environment vertical, with a strong focus on client acquisition, investor-aligned ESG solutions, and infrastructure-linked advisory services.

The candidate will play a key role in expanding LSI’s footprint across corporates, infrastructure developers, and financial institutions, while supporting leadership in achieving aggressive growth targets.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Business Development

  • Drive business growth for ESG and Environment services across infrastructure, banking & financial services, and industrial sectors
  • Identify and convert opportunities in EIA, ESG advisory, climate risk, sustainability reporting, and transaction advisory
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with LSI’s growth strategy


2. Client & Investor Engagement

  • Develop relationships with CXOs, sustainability heads, and investment teams
  • Engage with banks, NBFCs, AIFs, and multilateral agencies for ESG-linked advisory mandates
  • Position LSI as a trusted ESG and infrastructure advisory partner


3. Proposal & Bid Management

  • Lead preparation of techno-commercial proposals, bids, and EOIs
  • Track and secure assignments from multilateral institutions (ADB, World Bank, IFC), MoRTH, NHAI, and state agencies
  • Collaborate with technical and finance teams for competitive submissions


4. ESG & Sustainability Solutions Positioning

  • Promote LSI’s services in:
  • ESG strategy & reporting (GRI, BRSR, TCFD, CDP)
  • Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (EIA/ESIA)
  • Climate change, decarbonization, and carbon markets
  • ESG due diligence and lender’s independent engineer roles
  • Align offerings with investor expectations, regulatory compliance, and value creation


5. Market Intelligence & Growth Strategy

  • Track emerging trends in ESG regulations, green finance, and sustainable infrastructure
  • Support leadership in sector prioritization and go-to-market strategies
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across LSI’s service lines


6. Revenue & Performance Management

  • Achieve annual revenue and order booking targets for ESG vertical
  • Improve win ratio and client conversion metrics
  • Contribute to long-term business planning and profitability goals

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong domain knowledge of Environmental and ESG advisory services
  • Proven business development and revenue generation track record
  • Experience in handling large bids and government/multilateral projects
  • Excellent client engagement, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of financial/investor-driven ESG frameworks
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional and leadership teams


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in consulting firms or advisory organizations
  • Exposure to multilateral-funded projects and infrastructure advisory
  • Familiarity with BRSR, SEBI ESG requirements, and international frameworks

  • Revenue generation and order booking (ESG vertical)
  • Number of new clients acquired
  • Bid success rate and pipeline strength
