CVC DIF, the infrastructure strategy of leading global private markets manager CVC, is the majority shareholder in Low Carbon. Working alongside MassMutual, CVC DIF will enable Low Carbon to significantly expand its installed capacity and drive the next stage of growth as a diversified, leading next-generation IPP.
Role Summary
The Executive Business Partner (EBP) is a hands‑on, business‑driven role working closely with senior leaders, combining strategic thinking with the opportunity to build cutting‑edge digital skills.
The EBP provides high quality executive support to the CEO, ensuring smooth coordination of leadership activities, board and committee processes, and day to day executive operations. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication, the ability to prepare high quality papers and presentations, and confidence engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to continuously improve how the CEO Office operates, using technology, data, and strong relationships to maximise effectiveness.
The EBP will also oversee the quality and workflow of the Business Support function and support core operational processes linked to the CEO Office, including support to the wider Executive team and Board. They will also take responsibility for building management.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support to the CEO, COO, General Counsel, Board and Executive team
- Support the CEO with meeting preparation, briefings, and document collation.
- Use AI tools (including Copilot) to capture, synthesise, and prioritise meeting outputs, producing clear actions, decisions, and follow‑ups with minimal manual effort.
- Draft, edit, and prepare presentations, reports, and documents for internal and external audiences.
- Build constructive relationships across the organisation to support smooth communication and coordination.
Business Operations & Office Oversight
- Take full ownership of Building Management, acting as the primary point of contact for landlords, facilities providers, contractors, and service partners.
- Oversee the day to day running of the office, ensuring a safe, well maintained, and efficient working environment for all employees. and value for money.
- Identify and resolve practical, logistical, or facilities related issues promptly to ensure smooth business operations.
- Support continuous improvement of office systems, processes, and on site employee experience.
Leadership of Business Support team
- Provide functional leadership to EAs and Front of House, setting expectations, standards, and ways of working to ensure high quality administrative support for the wider business.
- Provide guidance on prioritisation, service standards, and internal processes.
- Build consistency, efficiency, and best practice across the business support function, reducing duplication and improving service quality.
Skills & Experience
- A business‑based master's degree (e.g. MBA, MSc Management, MSc Business, or similar), or equivalent experience operating at a similar level, is desirable.
- Experience in a Business Management, Executive Assistant, or Executive Business Partner role supporting C suite or senior leadership.
- Strong document preparation skills, with experience drafting or refining board level papers and presentations.
- Strong interest in AI and digital tools, with evidence of using them to simplify work, improve quality, or save time.
- Excellent organisational abilities with strong attention to detail and follow through.
- Experience coordinating leadership meetings, planning cycles, and executive workflows.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders and external partners.
- Experience supporting or overseeing administrative/office operations is desirable.
