Job Title: EV Battery Sales Head

Overview

As the core person in charge of the company’s power battery business in the North American market, this role fully oversees market expansion, customer development, channel construction, order delivery and team management for battery products (automotive power lithium batteries, energy storage power batteries, supporting battery modules, etc.) in North America. You will deeply engage with core customers including North American new energy vehicle manufacturers, energy storage integrators, equipment manufacturers and distributors. In combination with North American market policies, industry standards and competitive landscape, you will formulate targeted sales strategies, achieve annual sales performance, market share and brand development goals, build a stable and efficient localized North American sales system, and drive the large-scale and sustainable development of the company’s power battery business in North America.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Marketing, International Trade, New Energy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields is preferred..
  • 8+ years of overseas sales experience in power battery, new energy storage and lithium battery industries, Prior experience in North American market operation for leading power battery enterprises, new energy vehicle manufacturers or energy storage integrators is preferred. Possession of mature North American automaker and energy storage key customer resources is a strong plus.
  • Profound knowledge of power batteries (NCM, LFP), battery modules and energy storage batteries, including product characteristics, technical parameters and application scenarios; proficient in product presentation and technical consultation to meet customized customer needs.
  • Excellent in key account development, business negotiation, contract risk control and full-cycle project management; capable of independently operating large-batch orders and long-term strategic cooperation projects.
  • Familiar with North American new energy market rules, import and export procedures, tariff policies, UL/IEC certification standards and industry access requirements, as well as relevant laws and regulations for automotive and energy storage batteries in North America.
