Lime is hiring a Network Engineer to join our IT team! In this role, you will report into the Manager of Network Systems. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our organization's local and wide area networks. This is an excellent opportunity for a cloud networking professional with deep expertise in AWS networking, cloud security, and infrastructure best practices to shape the enterprise network ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud networking and possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams. This role also comprises some responsibility for corporate physical security standards, deployment and maintenance.

This is a fixed term position initially for 3 months with potential to extend another 3 months.

What you will do:

  • Install, configure and maintain hardware and software for Network and Physical Security devices

  • Monitor network and security performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

  • Manage Fortinet firewall infrastructure in AWS, including configuration, policy management, and updates.

  • Designs, builds, manages, and operates Amazon Web Services with automation and infrastructure as code.

  • Create and maintain network standardized documentation, including diagrams and configurations

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth network and security operation

  • Provide end-user support for network-related issues

  • Implement and manage VPN solutions (site-to-site and remote access) across the organization.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Relevant networking certifications will be considered as well.

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on cloud and hybrid environments.

  • Demonstrable experience with core AWS networking services (e.g., VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Strong knowledge of network hardware, software, and protocols, including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet and other devices.

  • Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and VPN technologies.

  • Certification in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner -required, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Associated -preferred.

  • Certification in Fortinet Certified Fundamentals -required, Fortinet Certified Associate -preferred.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Range: $36.00 - $50.00
