Lime is the world’s largest shared electric vehicle company. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. As we tackle this ambition, we seek a Communications Manager for one of our most significant regions - France, Benelux and Southern Europe - to help us continue to build a brand that riders and cities love. This person will report to the Global Head of Communications and Brand.

What you'll do:

    • Build and evolve our communications, PR and brand strategy to support Lime’s business globally as well as in each of your regions of responsibility
    • Proactively identify and pitch data and stories that demonstrate our positive impact in communities, leading to earned media coverage
    • Engage directly with local and regional top-tier media to shape stories, serve as an on-the-record spokesperson when needed and rapidly respond to inquiries, breaking news and crises
    • Manage and develop global and localized content, including press releases, op-eds, talking points, FAQs
    • Partner with Global Comms & Brand team as well as local Ops, Government Relations and Rider Growth teams to develop creative campaigns and activations that highlight Lime’s leadership in sustainability, safety, innovation and community
    • Partner with local Government Relations teams to develop communications plans around local and regional regulations
    • Manage agency and other partners effectively with clear guidance on strategy and measurable outcomes
    • Serve as communications consultant to local General Managers and leaders across the company
    • Prepare and media-train spokespeople
    • Prepare, analyze and refine measurement and monitoring reports

About you:

    • 5+ years communications, media relations and PR experience, including in a high-growth environment
    • Proven success establishing effective relationships with top tier media and securing coverage in business, tech and local publications (especially in France)
    • Fluent in French and English, knowledge of Spanish and Italian a plus
    • Owner mindset, always proactive, autonomous and adaptable problem-solver
    • Excellent writing and speaking skills
    • High-energy and ability to confidently communicate with and influence a diverse team across the company
    • A natural curiosity to always listen to our riders, look out for cultural and local trends, measure and learn
    • Maintain cool and humor in times of stress
    • Experience working in a global company across time zones, with an understanding of how to both maintain consistency of global messaging as well as understanding and applying cultural nuances
