We are searching for an experienced insurance claims specialist who is an expert at analyzing and investigating a variety of complex, challenging and interesting cases. In this fast-moving role, you will be able to show off your extensive analysis skills and excellent negotiation abilities. You are passionate about utilizing your expertise and collaborating with co-workers to achieve strong results for the overall success of the team.

What You'll Do

    • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex incidents
    • Maintain ownership of claims through the resolution of all exposures
    • Serve as primary point of contact throughout the claims process
    • Communicate and collaborate with internal claims representatives, legal, third party administrators, and outside counsel as required
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure a first-class customer experience
    • Work with individuals involved in accidents to help them understand our processes, assist them with those processes, and when appropriate, the benefits they are entitled to receive
    • Determine reimbursement of medical, wage loss, and other benefits which may include negotiating a settlement of injury claims
    • Review police reports, medical treatment records, medical bills, or physical property damage to determine the extent of liability
    • Communicate liability decision to customers, claimants, claim specialists, and internal and external legal and insurance partners
    • Meet with all relevant parties to determine claim settlement, denial, or review
    • Prepare, and document all reports, cases and findings in compliance with regulations
    • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement in Lime’s claims processes and cost management

About You

    • 5 + years of auto claims processing experience
    • Deep knowledge of physical injuries, medical terminology, medical treatment protocols, and the wage loss claims process
    • Knowledge of auto coverage, liability and bodily injury claims
    • Excellent customer service skills, both with internal and external stakeholders
    • Proficient in Microsoft office suite (excel, word)
    • Creative and analytical problem solving
    • Bachelor's degree or or similar
    • Comfortable with working in a global environment
    • Basic Korean or German language skills would also be a plus!
