Senior Analyst, Structured FinanceLocations: Austin, TX | Denver, CO | San Francisco, CAWork Style: Hybrid (Tue–Thu in office)Lightsource bp is on a mission to become a global leader in onshore renewable energy, building on a decade of success developing large-scale solar and energy storage projects.As global electricity demand accelerates—driven by AI infrastructure, data centers, and electrification—we are investing and innovating to deliver the clean, reliable energy solutions needed to power the future.Lightsource bp combines the agility of a fast-growing renewable developer with the backing and scale of one of the world’s leading energy companies.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Analyst, Structured Finance to support tax equity, debt financing, and strategic transactions across our expanding U.S. portfolio.In this role, you will work directly on project financings from capital raising through commercial operation, while contributing financial analysis that supports power offtake origination, investment decisions, and M&A opportunities.This is a highly analytical role offering hands-on exposure to complex renewable energy transactions and capital markets.What You’ll DoOwn and maintain project finance financial models for tax equity and debt financing processesSupport capital raising activities from initial marketing through financial closePrepare marketing materials for tax equity investors and lendersManage transaction data rooms and due diligence processes across internal teams and external advisorsValidate project inputs in financial models related to revenue, operating expenses, and capital expendituresSupport term sheet negotiations through financial modeling and scenario analysisAssist in preparing investment committee materials for key project milestonesProvide financial analysis supporting PPA execution, procurement strategy, design optimization, and EPC negotiationsTrack industry trends, market transactions, and competitive activityWhat We’re Looking For1–3 years of experience in project finance, structured finance, investment banking, consulting, or renewable energy developmentStrong Excel-based financial modeling skills (modeling test included in interview process)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative fieldUnderstanding of tax equity or renewable project finance structures preferredStrong analytical thinking, organization, and communication skillsInterest in renewable energy and the energy transitionWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation: $110,000 to $130,000 annually + annual bonusHealth, dental and vision coverage effective day one of employmentRetention bonuses4 weeks vacation + 3 weeks sick leave + 11 holidays401(k) with 3% employer contributionHybrid work environment$100/month phone reimbursement + $150 commuter benefitLifestyle Savings Account and additional benefitsWhy Lightsource bpYou’ll join an international, collaborative team operating across 15 countries, developing renewable energy projects that support long-term energy security and global decarbonization.Our work is guided by our core values: Safety, Integrity, Respect, Sustainability, and Drive.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
