Management Accountant

Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, produce and maintain accurate and complete reporting/analysis supporting all global regions:

• Management Information

o Produce comprehensive financial and commercial information in a timely manner

o Producing detailed monthly management accounts report and commentary

o Prepare all analysis required together with comparatives to budgets / forecasts

o Produce KPI reporting to asses pan-regional performance

o Perform key co-ordination role for pan-regional activities and initiatives

o Provide information to support third party reporting requirements

• Statutory Accounts and Audit

o Support with preparation of year end statutory accounts for multiple entities

o Liaise with the external auditors as required

• General day to day activity

o Take a hands-on approach where required, processing entries for all ledgers as necessary

o Take ownership and pride in the accuracy, quality and timeliness of financial information

o Preparation of monthly accounts reporting in line with agreed deadlines

o Liaising with other members of the wider finance team

o Assisting with ongoing change management initiatives

Work Skills

• 2-3 years of experience ideally with renewable energy or project infrastructure experience

• Ability to produce management accounts and analysis

• Experience of Project Finance, Renewable Energy project accounting desirable

• Experience of an accounting and reporting system desirable

• Experience of SAP S/4HANA

General Skills

• Ability to organise workload and prioritise to maximum effect

• Accurate data input essential

• Set high standards of performance for yourself and the broader finance team

• Ability to pick up systems and processes quickly

• Demonstrate excellent MS Excel skills

• Positive can-do attitude, ability to maintain a positive attitude in demanding situations

• Work effectively as part of a team, share information with relevant parties

• Willingness to take on a variety of duties as required
