  • Supervise and support the in-country teams in writing and presenting formal budget requests to senior leadership, Executive Management Committee and Investment Committee, ensuring the requests are well thought through and robust before they are presented.
  • Have a high level understanding of key contracts (EPC, GIA, MIPA, PPA, BTA) and development requirements (such as land rights agreements) and be able to highlight key issues based on experience in other geographies and projects, working closely with in-country development and legal teams as necessary.
  • Understand commercial issues in EPC contracting to support the delivery and construction team where necessary.
  • Hold in-country teams accountable for accuracy in financial models and ensuring that assumptions are robust and signed off by relevant stakeholders.
