Job Title - Product Marketing Manager
Role Overview
LiCAP is seeking a strategic, results-driven Product Marketing Manager to drive market success for our Activated Dry Electrode® technology and associated product offerings. This role will position you at the heart of LiCAP’s growth, bridging R&D, manufacturing, and market success across critical industrial sectors like EV, energy storage and robot applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Strategy & Positioning
- Define market segmentation, target customers (e.g., EV OEMs, battery manufacturers, grid storage firms), and go-to-market strategies.
- Craft unique value propositions for LiCAP’s dry electrode tech, emphasizing sustainability, cost advantage, and scalability.
- Messaging & Collateral Development
- Produce compelling product documentation: white papers, solution briefs, case studies (e.g., 300 MWh roll-to-roll line launch), technical datasheets, and pitch decks.
- Work closely with technical teams to translate complex R&D outputs into engaging, market-ready content.
- Product Go-To Market Planning
- Execute product and partnership launches, coordinating with PR, partners, and clients to maximize visibility.
- Organize events: webinars, trade shows (e.g., battery or cleantech), and showcases of production milestones.
- Competitive & Market Research
- Monitor industry trends (e.g., NMP-free tech, solid-state batteries), competitor offerings, and regulatory shifts.
- Perform win/loss analysis, gather customer and partner feedback to inform product enhancements.
- Sales Enablement & Training
- Equip business development and sales teams with pitch training, battlecards, and market insights.
- Gather input from customers and field teams to adjust messaging or product positioning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or related field. MBA a plus.
- 5+ years in product marketing or management within cleantech, energy storage, battery tech, or industrial B2B markets.
- Technical fluency: ability to understand and articulate battery manufacturing and electrode technology.
- Strong storytelling and written communication skills—comfortable developing collateral for both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience conducting product launches and marketing campaigns in B2B or high-tech environments.
- Collaborative approach and adaptability to fast-paced startup culture.
