The Managing Director HVAC Division is responsible for leading all business operations across the Netherlands. This role focuses on driving growth, operational excellence, and sustainability while ensuring alignment with the company’s European and global strategies.

What you’ll do

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and implement the regional business strategy to strengthen market share, profitability, and brand positioning within the Dutch HVAC market.

Market and Business Development:

• Identify and capitalize on opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC segments. Build strong relationships with distributors, installers, and energy solution partners.

Operational Management:

• Oversee sales, marketing, logistics, and after-sales service teams across the Netherlands. Ensure consistent service quality and operational efficiency.

Financial Accountability:

• Manage the regional P&L, budgets, and forecasts. Drive revenue growth while maintaining cost control and operational profitability.

Regulatory and Sustainability Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to EU and local regulations, including F-Gas, Ecodesign, and national energy transition policies. Lead initiatives supporting decarbonization and renewable energy integration.

Innovation and Product Strategy:

• Collaborate with European R&D and product management teams to introduce advanced heat pump systems, smart HVAC controls, and energy-efficient solutions tailored to Dutch market needs.

Leadership and Team Development:

• Lead and mentor country managers and functional leaders. Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture that encourages innovation and accountability.

Stakeholder and Government Relations:

• Represent the company in industry associations, sustainability forums, and government discussions related to energy efficiency and climate policy.

What you must have

• 10–15 years of experience in HVAC, energy, or building technology sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Deep understanding of the (Dutch) HVAC market, including distribution networks, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability trends.
• Proven success in managing multi-country operations and driving business transformation.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; proficiency in French is a strong advantage.
