Compliance & Quality Assurance Coordinator (Public Sector) - 14 Month Contract
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an analytical and detail-oriented professional to join a leading public sector body in a key role supporting compliance, governance, and Ireland’s climate action objectives
Working within the Inspections Unit, the successful candidate will support the delivery of national energy upgrade schemes, ensuring robust compliance, high-quality programme delivery, and continuous improvement across operation
Salary: €53,071 per annum (non-negotiable)
Location: Dublin, Dundalk, Cork or Sligo
Contract: 14-month maternity cover contract
Working Model: Hybrid / blended working
Hours: 41.25 hours per week (35 hours net of breaks)
Annual Leave: 29 days plus public holidays

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply risk-based approaches to select properties for inspection and audit across grant-funded energy upgrade schemes.
- Coordinate and monitor outsourced inspection and audit providers to ensure efficient, high-quality compliance delivery.
- Track SLA/KPI performance through reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Support forecasting of inspection volumes, operational planning, and invoice reconciliation.
- Analyse compliance data and produce reports using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
- Support digital platform development and process improvement initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement, focusing on automation, efficiency, and service quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support programme delivery, risk mitigation, and compliance objectives.
- Attend site inspections where required to ensure alignment with compliance standards.
- Promote a strong culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
About You - Essential Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Science, Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Building Services, Construction Project Management or related field, plus experience:
- Level 8 + 3 years’ experience, OR
- Level 7 + 5 years’ experience, OR
- Level 6 + 8 years’ experience.
- Strong experience with large datasets and data tools such as Power BI, Power Query or Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of sustainable energy or energy upgrade schemes.
- Understanding of construction/building technologies sector in Ireland.
- Knowledge of Irish building regulations and H&S legislation.
- Experience in compliance, inspections, auditing or regulatory environments.
- Experience managing outsourced providers or operational teams.
- Business process improvement experience.
- Strong customer service delivery background.
- Irish language proficiency an advantage.
