Role Description The MEP Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kilkenny, responsible for leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) project delivery within sustainability-focused building and energy projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and coordinating MEP works, managing project schedules and budgets, and overseeing submittals, technical documentation, and compliance with design and regulatory standards. The role involves liaising with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, monitoring site progress, resolving technical issues, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The MEP Project Manager will also support value engineering, risk management, and timely project reporting, contributing to high-performing, energy-efficient solutions aligned with Lawler Sustainability’s goals.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge, including coordination of building services and integrated systems.
  • Candidates should possess practical skills in plumbing and related site installation oversight within commercial or industrial environments.
  • Candidates should possess solid project management and budgeting skills, including scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Candidates should possess experience managing submittals, technical documentation, and compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Relevant engineering or construction-related degree (e.g., mechanical, electrical, building services, or similar) is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with energy-efficient or sustainable building projects, and familiarity with ESG or Net Zero initiatives, is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Kilkenny.
  • Proficiency in project management software and common office tools; professional certifications in project management are a plus.
