Account Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic Account Development Manager to join the Latitude Media sales team.
Latitude Media covers the new frontiers of the energy transition, delivering B2B news, podcasts, and events for investors, utilities, and energy innovators. We partner with leading companies and stakeholders in the climate tech ecosystem to provide high-quality, actionable insights and lead-generating platforms.
In the Account Development Manager role, you’ll play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, supporting client relationships, and helping design partnership programs that drive impact for both clients and our audience. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams — events, marketing, and creative strategies — to develop and deliver integrated solutions across our lines of business. The scope of this role scales with experience. Junior hires will focus on outbound efforts and proposal development, while mid-level hires will also take on territory ownership and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Identify and support the development of new business opportunities across energy, utilities, climate tech, and finance sectors.
- Research and identify potential partners, build prospect lists, and manage outreach efforts to grow Latitude Media’s client base.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and campaign reports for clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver custom programs — including sponsored content, events, and research initiatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline activity, and help forecast sales performance.
- Stay up to date on market / sector trends across the power sector and energy transition, and identify how they impact clients and account strategy.
- Represent Latitude Media at industry events, and help elevate our brand as a trusted partner in the energy transition ecosystem.
- 3–5 years of experience in account management, business development, partnerships, or sales — ideally in B2B media, research, or events.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Comfortable with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and data tracking.
- Curiosity about the energy transition, clean tech, and how business and technology intersect to shape the sector.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-growing organization.
- Experience working with clients in the energy, technology, or climate sectors.
- Background in media, research, or events-based partnerships.
- Understanding of content marketing, sponsorships, or lead-generation campaigns.
