Sustainability Reporting Manager

We’re working with a leading global financial services group to recruit a Manager into its sustainability reporting function.

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing financed emissions methodologies within a complex, international organisation operating across multiple markets.

The role sits within a central finance and people function and works closely with investment, banking and asset management teams to support evolving sustainability commitments and regulatory expectations globally.

You will be responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of financed emissions methodologies across the organisation. You’ll act as a trusted subject matter expert in greenhouse gas accounting, helping translate technical standards into practical, scalable reporting processes.

You’ll work with a broad and senior stakeholder group, drive meaningful process change, and help future-proof sustainability reporting in a fast-evolving regulatory and market environment. This is a role for someone who enjoys both technical depth and influencing outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of financed emissions methodologies across business lines
  • Provide expert guidance on greenhouse gas accounting for financed emissions
  • Drive process improvements and transformation to strengthen sustainability reporting capability
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, risk, and operating groups
  • Monitor and interpret developments in climate policy, sustainability standards and reporting frameworks
  • Support high-quality sustainability disclosures for internal and external stakeholders

About you:

You’ll bring a strong foundation in ESG and sustainability reporting, with hands-on experience in financed emissions. You’re comfortable working with complex data, enjoy problem-solving, and can balance technical rigor with practical delivery.

  • Experience in ESG / sustainability reporting, ideally with financed emissions exposure
  • A background in an analytical or quantitative discipline (e.g. accounting, finance, engineering, economics, climate science)
  • Proven experience driving process change in complex or evolving environments
  • Strong data analysis and quantitative skills
  • The confidence to engage and influence diverse stakeholder groups

Why consider this role?

  • High-impact role influencing sustainability outcomes at scale
  • Exposure to global operations and complex financial activities
  • Supportive, collaborative culture with strong learning and development opportunities
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
  • A benefits offering designed to support wellbeing, inclusion and long-term career growth
