  • Team: Go-to-Market
  • Employment Type: Permanent- Full time
  • Reports to: Go-to-Market Lead

Our Growth Marketing Manager will be the engine of our customer acquisition and engagement strategy. You are responsible for architecting and executing a data-driven, full-funnel marketing machine that attracts, converts, and retains the right customers at scale.

You’ll oversee the entire customer journey from first touch to renewal and advocacy using your expertise in performance marketing, SEO, and content creation to drive our growth. Working closely with the entire Go-to-Market team, you’ll build a predictable and scalable pipeline that directly fuels our mission to make a real-world impact on sustainable land management.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Acquisition Strategy & Execution: You'll help design, launch, and manage our marketing campaigns across key channels with a focus on LinkedIn. You'll A/B test creative and messaging, and continuously optimise for key metrics to drive efficient growth.
  • Full-Funnel & Customer Journey Optimisation: You'll map and analyse the customer journey, identifying and eliminating friction points. You’ll work with the product and sales teams to ensure a seamless lead handoff process and optimise every stage of the funnel to maximise conversion rates from prospect to loyal customer.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO): You'll lead our experimentation efforts, developing and running A/B tests on landing pages, copy, and calls-to-action. Your data-driven insights will turn more of our website traffic into qualified leads and customers.
  • Technical Marketing Content Creation: You'll act as a confident technical content creator, creating clear, compelling, and high-converting content for our landing pages and campaigns. You'll translate complex product features into powerful, benefit-driven messages and content that resonates with our audience.
  • SEO & Organic Growth: You'll develop and implement an SEO, AEO and GEO strategy to increase our organic visibility and attract high-intent users. You'll ensure our content is discoverable and that our organic and paid efforts work together to dominate search results for key terms.
  • Marketing Analytics & Reporting: You'll be the source of truth for marketing performance. You'll build and track full-funnel, starting from MGL and MQLs, analyse campaign results, and deliver actionable insights that inform our GTM strategy and demonstrate marketing's impact on revenue.
  • Tech Stack Management: You'll work with the Go-to-Market Lead to manage and leverage our marketing technology stack to automate processes, personalise user experiences, and ensure we have accurate data to make smart decisions.

About You

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Have a proven track record in a growth or performance marketing role, ideally within a B2B SaaS company, where you were responsible for driving revenue.
  • Are deeply analytical and data-driven, with experience using tools like Google Analytics and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) to track performance, generate insights, and make strategic decisions.
  • Are an exceptional technical writer and communicator, able to translate complex product details into clear, persuasive marketing copy that converts.
  • Have experience optimising the full marketing funnel and are comfortable running A/B tests and other CRO experiments to improve performance.
  • Are entrepreneurial and autonomous, comfortable taking full ownership of the marketing acquisition strategy with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment.
  • Are a hands-on expert with paid media platforms and know how to manage budgets and optimise campaigns to hit targets.
  • Are a proactive problem-solver with a "test and learn" mentality, always looking for new ways to improve processes and drive results.
  • Are a natural collaborator who can work effectively with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to create a cohesive customer experience.
  • Are passionate about our mission and want to use your marketing skills to make a real-world impact in sustainable land management.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have a background or experience in agriculture, environmental sectors, or land management.
  • Have experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies.
  • Have experience building and managing automated lead nurturing and customer onboarding sequences.

It's probably not the right fit if:

  • Prefer to focus on just one marketing channel without considering the full customer journey.
  • Are uncomfortable contributing to a revenue-tied marketing KPI and reporting on your impact.
  • Prefer high-level strategy and are hesitant to get hands-on with campaign execution, data analysis, and copywriting
  • Would prefer to work in a highly structured, corporate environment with rigid, unchanging processes.
  • Struggle with the ambiguity of a scaling startup, where you'll be helping to build processes from scratch.

The real world impact you'll make:

  • Directly fuel our mission toward sustainable land use, by attracting and engaging more users to our platform.
  • Play a pivotal role in scaling a company that is addressing critical challenges like climate change and food security.
  • Ensure our story and the value of our product reach the people who can use it to drive sustainable land use practices across the UK and beyond.
  • Help build a data-driven culture that connects our marketing efforts directly to our mission-driven outcomes.

Break through the self doubt! Research tells us that women, ethnic minorities, and people from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet 100% of the criteria. None of us are the finished article, we’re imperfect humans after all. If you’ve read this far and have experience (work or personally) you could bring, we’d love to hear from you.

About The Hiring Process

We’re firm believers that a hiring process is a two-way street. It’s just as important that you are confident in the role and company fit as we are:

  • Initial Screening call (15 mins): To check it’s a match on both sides, before progressing to interview stage
  • Hiring manager interview (45-60 mins): For us to hear your experience and how it links to the key role responsibilities. For you to understand more about the role, team and Land App more broadly.
  • Role Specific scenario/task (60 mins): For us to see you in action, and learn about how you apply your skills practically. For you to gain insight into what a typical day at Land App may include.
  • Informal Founder interview (30 Mins) with Tim: For you to meet Tim (the one who started it all!), ask any final questions and hear more about the impact we want to make in the world. For Tim to meet you and explain how this role connects to our mission.

Timelines: The festive season is upon us! We will be looking to invite people for hiring manager interviews from January, with screening calls starting before Christmas.

Tell us what you need!

We want you to feel at your best. Let us know if there are any adjustments or adaptations we can make during the hiring process to support your application (e.g. any medical conditions or any individual needs).

Important note: This role is open for those eligible to live and work in the UK. We are unable to sponsor visas for this position.
