Product Manager | Climate Tech Startup
Location: London or Bristol (Hybrid, 2/3 days a week in-office)
Salary: £80,000 - £120,000
Build products that accelerate the transition to a net-zero future.
We're partnering with a rapidly growing venture-backed technology company transforming how renewable energy systems are designed, sold and installed.
Their platform is already helping hundreds of businesses deliver complex renewable energy projects more efficiently, and they're now looking for a Senior / Lead Product Manager to help shape the next stage of growth.
This is an opportunity to join a small, ambitious team where you'll have genuine ownership, significant influence and the ability to see your work reach customers quickly.
What you'll be doing
- Own major product areas from discovery through to delivery and iteration
- Work directly with customers to understand problems, uncover opportunities and validate solutions
- Partner closely with engineering and design to turn complex challenges into intuitive products
- Help define product strategy and roadmap priorities
- Use data, customer insight and experimentation to make better product decisions
- Explore how emerging technologies, including AI, can unlock new opportunities for customers and the business
- Operate comfortably in a fast-moving environment with high levels of autonomy
What we're looking for
We're less interested in specific industry backgrounds and more interested in how you think.
You'll likely have:
- Experience building and scaling B2B software products
- Strong product fundamentals across discovery, prioritisation and delivery
- A natural curiosity for technology and how things work
- Experience operating in startup, scale-up or highly ambiguous environments
- A track record of turning customer problems into impactful product outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas simply
You'll stand out if you:
- Build things outside of work
- Experiment regularly with AI tools and workflows
- Have founded a business, launched a side project or taken ownership of a 0-1 initiative
- Demonstrate strong learning agility and intellectual curiosity
Why join?
- Significant product ownership and influence
- Work on meaningful real-world problems
- High-calibre, ambitious team
- Opportunity to shape the future direction of the product
- Fast decision-making and minimal bureaucracy
- Competitive salary plus meaningful equity participation
The type of person who thrives here:
- Curious
- Driven
- Pragmatic
- Humble
- Action-oriented
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Excited by learning new things
- Interested in building, not just managing
This role will suit somebody who enjoys solving hard problems, learning quickly and turning ideas into products that create real-world impact.
Interview Process
- Intro Call with the CPO
- Task + Review Call
- Final Round with Founders and Key Team Members
- Optional final check-in, depending on candidate competition or scheduling
