We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV to join our Electrical Installation Team supporting large mining truck programs . In this role, you’ll own end‑to‑end electrical harness and routing designs—from concept through production—working closely with cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams.

This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role supporting machines tested in Tucson and built in Decatur, IL.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and route electrical wire harnesses , cables, and associated hardware for large mining trucks
  • Develop and review 3D models, schematics, and engineering drawings using Creo, Pro Cabling, and Electric Lines
  • Support design reviews , print checking, and detailing activities
  • Ensure compliance with company design standards, safety codes, and best practices
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and purchasing teams
  • Support cost rollups, FMEA, APQP , and quality initiatives
  • Participate in troubleshooting and clearance checks on physical equipment
  • Occasionally visit proving grounds and manufacturing facilities

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (accredited program)
  • 8+ years of relevant product design experience
  • Strong experience with electrical harness design
  • Advanced proficiency in Creo, Teamcenter, Pro Cabling / Fluid Lines
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
  • Solid understanding of FMEAs and technical problem‑solving
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • heavy‑equipment experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot wiring and cable mounting issues
  • 3D clearance checks and Teamcenter Vis Mockup experience
  • Comfortable working around heavy equipment and manufacturing environments
