The company is looking for a commercially aware, organised and proactive Commercial Officer to support its commercial operations and help progress opportunities from initial enquiry through proposal, follow-up and order confirmation.
The role involves customer engagement, proposal preparation, CRM administration and cross-functional coordination, working closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Procurement and Fulfilment.
The Commercial Officer will be tasked with ensuring opportunities are effectively tracked and progressed, commitments are properly coordinated, and customers receive consistent support throughout the commercial process.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and progress commercial opportunities from enquiry through proposal, negotiation and order confirmation.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders and other commercial submissions.
- Follow up active opportunities and customer engagements to support conversion and revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and commercial pipeline information.
- Coordinate commercial requirements across relevant internal teams.
- Support pricing, proposal development and commercial analysis in line with approved company standards.
- Monitor open opportunities and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
- Support key account development, repeat business and additional commercial opportunities.
- Coordinate RFQs, institutional enquiries and B2B opportunities.
- Support the administration of purchase orders, contracts and related commercial documentation.
- Prepare commercial updates and pipeline reports for management.
- Contribute to improvements in commercial processes, systems and customer engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Procurement, Operations, International Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in commercial operations, account management, business support, customer engagement or a related role.
- Experience in B2B, technical products, solar, electrical equipment, electronics or similar sectors is an advantage.
- Experience preparing quotations, proposals, tenders or commercial documentation is desirable.
- Experience using CRM, ERP or other business management systems is an advantage.
