Customer Experience Manager
Job Description
We’re looking for a Customer Experience Representative or Manager to become the bridge between our technology and the people who use it. You’ll help homeowners, electricians, builders, and partners understand and love the Kora system.
You’ll be the founding member of our customer experience team, helping to design the systems, tools, and processes that will scale as we grow. It’s a hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving problems, learning fast, and building from scratch.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary contact for homeowners, installers, and partners during pre-sales, setup and onboarding.
- Learn Kora’s hardware and software systems deeply — Smart Panel, Powerblocks, Energy Trading and Power App — so you can guide customers through installation, compatibility, and optimization.
Develop clear guides, FAQs, and training materials that simplify complex systems. - Track and analyze customer feedback to improve satisfaction (NPS, CSAT, response times).
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to report issues and influence updates along with training AI CX bots.
- Help define scalable support processes, tools, and workflows for future team growth.
You Are
- A builder — comfortable creating processes, documentation, and tools from the ground up.
- Technically curious — you love learning how systems work and explaining them clearly.
- Experienced in customer support or success for hardware, smart-home, or clean-tech products (3–5 years preferred).
- Located in or willing to commute to the Sacramento area several days per week.
- A strong communicator who writes with clarity and speaks with empathy.
- Energized by the mission of helping homeowners gain energy independence.
Compensation
Pay based on experience, technical ability, and impact. This position is classified as exempt under applicable wage-and-hour laws. Equity opportunities may be available as part of total compensation.

Location
This is an on-site position based at our Rancho Cordova, CA office. Candidates must either live in the Sacramento area or be willing to work on-site multiple days per week. Occasional remote work is possible, but in-person collaboration is essential for success in this role.
