Job Title: Senior Manager - Global Facility & Sustainability Management.


Job overview/Purpose of the Position:

  • Ensure all facilities and installations adhere to health, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Secure legal compliance for contracts, legislation and other relevant.
  • Secure global uniform methods principles, tools, systems and solutions within Facility Management across all KK sites globally.
  • Support Global Sustainability objectives by driving energy efficiency, resource optimization, emissions reduction and sustainable facility standards across global sites.


Area of responsibilities:

  • Drive the global Facility Management community by involvement of the site Facility Managers.
  • Secure structured facility maintenance programs for compliance with health, safety, environmental and sustainability requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to standardize and improve Facility Management, utilities, systems, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, insurance compliance and sustainability practices.
  • Secure a full risk overview and contingency plans to mitigate risks in relation to facilities, utilities, systems, environmental impact, sustainability compliance and other relevant areas.
  • Financial planning, budgeting, controlling and support for site Facility Managers, including sustainability-related investments, energy efficiency initiatives and resource optimization projects.
  • Project planning and project management, including tracking schedules, budgets and costs for facility, sustainability and environmental improvement projects.
  • Identify and implement improvements, cost-out initiatives, energy savings, waste reduction and sustainability synergies across sites.
  • Vendor management, including alignment with sustainability requirements, environmental standards and responsible sourcing expectations where relevant.
  • Report creation and documentation, including relevant sustainability, energy, utilities and environmental performance inputs.


Competencies (e.g. technical skills):

  • Structured, fact-based and business acumen approach.
  • Industrial Engineering, Facility maintenance, building physics skills and best practices.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, utilities, support systems, building systems and energy efficiency principles.
  • Project management of time, quality and cost.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Risk assessment, mitigation and management.
  • Legislation management for building, contract, environment, governmental and sustainability-related requirements.
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards, environmental management, resource efficiency and emissions reduction principles relevant to facilities.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.


Additional information:

  • Data driven and structured approach, including ability to quantify and assess facility, operational and sustainability-related risks.
  • Expertise in reading building drawings, specifications, 2D and 3D drawings, etc.
  • Strong business acumen, cost-out mindset, collaboration with internal stakeholders and strong team player.
  • Ability to collaborate with Global Sustainability and local sites to translate sustainability targets into practical facility actions.
  • Great leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Planning and maintaining facility budgets, including energy efficiency and sustainability-related initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Contract handling experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English verbally and in writing, and/or either Polish/Danish as a second language.


Educational Qualification Required:

  • Practical education (Carpenter, Electrician, plumber, construction worker, etc.) and a Bachelor/Masters.


Relevant Experience Required:

  • 5-8 years New plant start-up, green and brownfield. Budgeting, implementation, and inspection.


Breadth of the Role: Global.


Customer / Supplier Interaction: Yes - Long Term Strategic Discussions.
