About the Role
Reporting to Operations & Admin Manager COE you will be the driving force behind our commercial success — supporting customers, collaborating with field sales, and helping our products shine in the market. If you love working with data and turning insights into smart decisions, this role is for you. This role will assist with the promotion and direct sales of our DLTR Next generation and Power panel daylighting products.
Responsibilities
- Dealing directly with customers to negotiate price, secure purchase orders and record win/loss ratio at the point of sale.
- Assist the commercial team (field based sales) by sending technical information, data sheets, drawings, NBS specifications and other technical supporting documentation as necessary to provide clarity of the Kingspan offer and confidence to the customer.
- Provide the customers with an excellent sales service experience in order to promote repeat sales.
- Utilise the CRM system to maintain customer and project records.
- Review weekly and monthly the quotation order bank and report issues and collate reports accordingly. V’s RW Volumes.
- During the growth phase of the product there will be a significant element of creating robust procedures, engaging in marketing activities including telephone cold calling, electronic marketing and similar promotional activities.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and develop strong relationships with direct transactional customers.
- Establish good relationships with specifiers and consultants.
- Ensure excellent communication between Commercial departments and other divisions, (technical, operations etc…)
- Maintain simple, clear and thorough records and procedures.
- Provide feedback on Customer feedback, both positive and negative.
- Provide feedback on issues that may affect the customer relationship.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines.
- Work closely with Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Update KPI Log on Volume and value of completed projects.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in internal sales, sales office, and/or telesales roles.
- Enjoy working with data — interpreting trends, spotting patterns, and turning numbers into actionable insights.
- Minimum of 2 years’ office experience, ideally within a direct sales position.
- Familiarity with a technical sales approach and the ability to engage confidently with customers on product specifications.
- Excellent numeracy skills with proficient use of spreadsheets.
- Strong telephone manner and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using CRM systems to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of the UK & Ireland construction industry and its key stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Kingspan products.
- Familiarity with Excel, SAP, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems.
- Understanding of different types of cladding systems used for roof and wall applications.

- Graduate or equivalent level of higher education.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner.
- Self motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly driven, goal oriented, and positive “can do” attitude.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and manage time effectively.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to work.
