Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Quincy, MA. Responsibilities:

  • Project Manager will lead and manage logistics and retail projects involving Oracle POS and multi-carrier logistics solutions
  • Oversee integration efforts with Oracle and ProShip systems to optimize carrier selection and reduce costs for retail stores
  • Collaborate closely with the logistics team, Oracle stakeholders, and system integrator (Zenzar) to ensure project success
  • Coordinate with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and others for seamless implementation
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
  • As a Project Manager, you will facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with project objectives, budgets, and timelines
  • Provide regular status updates and documentation for leadership and stakeholders* Proven experience as a Project Manager in logistics or retail environments
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle POS and logistics systems
  • Familiarity with carrier operations (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of cost optimization strategies in logistics
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple vendors and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and remotely for project duration
  • PMP or similar project management certification (preferred)
  • Experience with ProShip and multi-carrier shipping solutions (preferred)
