Project Manager
Kforce has a client in Beachwood, OH that is looking for a Project Manager. Key Responsibilities:
- Application Migration Project Manager will drive the successful delivery of multiple interrelated projects under a common business goal
- Lead the migration of 20-25 applications from a client-owned data center to primarily co-located (non-client-owned) facilities, with select applications moving to cloud environments
- Define program objectives, timelines, dependencies, and risks, and develop mitigation plans
- Coordinate internal teams and stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment throughout the migration lifecycle and beyond
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep programs on track
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, providing regular updates on program health, risks, and issues-including migration milestones and impact
- Ensure program goals align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations, especially regarding infrastructure transition and operational continuity
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and overall program governance, including third-party vendor coordination during data center shifts
- Conduct post-program evaluations and implement lessons learned* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in project/program management, with at least 3 years managing enterprise-level programs
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure migration initiatives involving application transitions from client-owned data centers to co-located and cloud-based environments
- Strong understanding of project management and software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Proven ability to manage programs with multiple stakeholders, teams, and geographies
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certificate is a plus
