Role Description

This full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon is for a Business Development Manager. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, developing and executing sales strategies, and contributing to the company’s growth goals. The Business Development Manager will also engage in market research to identify trends, formulate proposals, and effectively communicate value propositions to prospective customers. Additionally, the role will require collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.


Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in sustainability, GHG accounting, ISO standards (ISO 14064, ISO 14065, ISO 14001, etc.), and related domains
  • Experience in business development, sales, and client relationship management
  • Experience in preparing proposals, conducting market research, and developing sales strategies
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams for service delivery


Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • MBA qualification is preferred, though not mandatory
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in market research and strategic planning
  • Good understanding of climate change services, management system certifications, and sustainability standards (preferred)
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work effectively in an on-site setting
