What will I be doing?
We are looking for a talented Reward Specialist to join our growing team. As a fast-growing scale-up organisation, we have already put some key Reward & Benefits infrastructure in place. But you will have a huge opportunity to redefine & iterate elements of our offering across global compensation, bonus, commission, equity and more!
Key Responsibilities
The key objective of this role is to design, implement and manage the organisation’s reward and benefits framework, ensuring competitiveness in the market, alignment to business strategy, and compliance with legislation.You will provide expert advice to the People team (HR) and business leaders on pay, recognition, and benefits, supporting employee engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities
The key objective of this role is to design, implement and manage the organisation’s reward and benefits framework, ensuring competitiveness in the market, alignment to business strategy, and compliance with legislation.You will provide expert advice to the People team (HR) and business leaders on pay, recognition, and benefits, supporting employee engagement and retention.
- Lead the annual pay review and bonus cycle, working closely with People Partners and Finance.
- Manage the company’s pay band structures, ensuring internal control and external competitiveness.
- Support leadership on all aspects of executive reward—including the design, governance, and administration of senior leadership and executive bonus schemes, ensuring proposals are market-aligned, compliant, and clearly documented for approval.
- Own the day-to-day administration and employee communication of the equity (share) scheme, including the issuance of new shares and share certificates.
- Review and manage the organisation’s benefits offering (pension, healthcare, insurance, wellbeing, salary sacrifice schemes).
- Lead relationships with benefits providers, brokers and consultants.
- Provide detailed reward analysis, benchmarking and market insights to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local law (e.g. for the UK HMRC reporting, P11D, Gender Pay Gap, pay transparency).
- Deliver clear, engaging employee communications on reward and benefits programmes.
Ideally you’ll have/be
- Demonstrable experience in Reward / Compensation & Benefits roles. This could be from a variety of backgrounds, e.g. a market data consultancy, financial services, tech, start-up/scale-up or some combination.
- Experience working with Reward market data providers such as Aon Radford and Ravio.
- Strong analytical skills with an intermediate-to-advanced level of Excel proficiency (Vlookups, index:match, pivot tables, ability to present data in graphs & charts).
- Experience managing annual reward cycles in a mid- or large-sized organisation.
- The ability to manage both strategic projects and day-to-day operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong interpersonal impact.
- Desirable not essential: Experience in establishing and overseeing the governance structure of Remuneration Committees (RemCos) and in working closely with them on executive reward matters.
- You are equally happy with your head down in a spreadsheet as you are presenting to C-level executives. The role will range from presenting strategy to the CFO, to responding to an employee’s query about their benefits enrolment.
- The ability to work in a scale-up environment where processes are not always mapped, and you have to create structure from multiple disparate data sources.
- A passion for the practical use of AI in your day-to-day work, to drive efficiency gains in administrative work to enable a greater focus on strategic value.
