What will I be doing?
We’re looking for a curious, creative, and organised storyteller to join our People Experience team and help bring Kaluza’s culture to life. This is a hands-on role where you’ll do more than just send emails. You’ll be part of a small team shaping how we communicate with our global workforce, driving employee engagement, and building an employer brand people are excited to be part of.
Reporting to the Internal Comms & Engagement Lead, you’ll craft high-impact content and manage digital channels, supporting on delivering everything from end-to-end colleague campaigns to live events.
We’re looking for someone with a future-focused mindset: you’re eager to learn, experiment with AI-led ways of working, and help us embed these tools to make our comms smarter and more impactful. Internal Communications
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and publish high-quality internal content, including company updates and storytelling that brings our mission to life.
- Digital Channels: Own the day-to-day running of the intranet - acting as a key gatekeeper, liaising with content contributors, and ensuring pages remain current and well-organised.
- Channel Management: Manage the internal content calendar to ensure all messaging is accurate, timely, and coordinated across global teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Build relationships across the business to source stories and translate complex technical or strategic updates into clear, human, and engaging content.
- Insight & Strategy: Track and report on channel performance, surfacing data-driven insights to help inform and evolve our communication strategy.
- Event Delivery: Plan and coordinate internal events, including Town Halls, Q&A sessions, and all-hands meetings.
- Cultural Initiatives: Help plan and deliver initiatives that drive connection - from seasonal challenges and recognition moments to social rhythms that make work exciting.
- Engagement Loops: Support the delivery of engagement surveys, including launch communications, participation tracking, and sharing results with the wider org.
- Sentiment Tracking: Monitor engagement trends to help the team stay proactive in addressing colleague needs and priorities.
- AI & Innovation: Help embed AI tools and modern ways of working into the comms function and across the organisation to make our workflows smarter and more efficient.
- Strategic Support: work with the Lead on priority campaigns, senior leadership comms, and high-impact cross-workstream programs.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain team documentation, trackers, and calendars to keep our global projects on track and transparent.
- Creative Initiative: Bring fresh ideas and a willingness to experiment and help build our culture.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for tone, clarity, and audience
- Confident working across multiple workstreams and comfortable with shifting priorities
- Genuine interest in people, culture, and what makes organisations tick
- Comfortable using tools like intranet platforms, email marketing tools, survey platforms, and content management systems
- Bonus if you have experience with video content, basic design tools (e.g. Canva), or social media management
- A collaborative, proactive mindset — happy to get stuck in and learn as you go
