What will I be doing?
Kaluza is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director - People Partnering to join our People team. This is a critical leadership role that will partner closely with our executive and leadership teams in global Product and Technology, Commercial, Growth, People & Finance acting as a strategic advisor and expert on all people-related matters. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping to shape and implement our People strategy, fostering a high-performance culture, and enabling the growth and success of Kaluza in a period of rapid scaling and growth.
We need a strategic leader with deep expertise working in a product-centric technology organisation and the agility to tailor their approach and experience to Kaluza's unique position and opportunities ahead. You will also have the experience to provide cover for the CPO and seamlessly handle all business-as-usual operations as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our Executive and Senior Leadership Teams providing expert counsel on organisational design, talent management, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of People Partners and Advisors to deliver on the people strategy within their respective areas, fostering a high performance culture and enabling the team to enhance their capabilities and operate as true strategic partners to the business and to confidently guide their business areas through complex organisational change and growth.
- Organisational Design: Partner with senior leaders to holistically design and implement effective organisational structures that support business objectives and optimise team performance across Kaluza
- Culture & Engagement: Champion Kaluza’s culture and values, fostering an inclusive and engaging environment across Kaluza, working with our engagement centre of excellence to develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and well-being.
- Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with the Reward team to ensure competitive and equitable compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain top talent in a product-centric technology company
- Learning & Development: Identify learning and development needs across Kaluza in collaboration with the performance and development centre of excellence and supporting with the design and implementation of targeted programs that enhance capabilities and foster continuous growth.
- Employee Relations: Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues, and responsible for ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and compliance with market-specific employment law.
- Data & Analytics: Utilise people data and analytics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and measure the effectiveness of people initiatives within product and technology.
- Change Strategy & Leadership: Architect and execute company-wide change management programmes for pivotal business transformations, including organisational design, M&A integration, and new technology adoption. Ensure all initiatives align with strategic objectives and drive seamless adoption across the organisation.
- Significant experience working in a strategic, senior people partnering leadership role supporting a global product and technology organisations. A deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within these environments is essential.
- Ability to translate business strategy into people initiatives and develop pragmatic solutions that drive organisational success.
- Strong understanding of business operations, financial metrics, and how people initiatives impact overall business performance.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to confidently articulate complex people strategies with clarity and influence, securing buy in from stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop leaders and teams.
- Experience working in a global organisation, understanding cultural nuances and operating across different geographies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Master's degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., CIPD) are a plus.
