Our client is a 5* Boutique Hotel with 100++ key rooms, located in Bangkok, Thailand. Hotel is part of a large chain.

Title of Position: Director of Engineering

Package: 100,000 - 120,000 Baht

KEY JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Production and distribution of steam.
• Produce required temperatures and air-conditions in specified spaces as specified.
• Collecting, processing and disposing of refuse.
• Operation of vertical transportation.
• Engineering and execution of planned maintenance, repairs, installations, and replacements.
• Administration and supervision of engineering craft personnel.
• Administration and supervision of other service facilities delegated to the Engineering Department.
• Provide technical consultation / engineering assistance to problems from other department.
• Maintain adequate fire and safety standards, including close relationship and good contacts with respective city/government authority.
• Maintain adequate / accurate records of equipment and property.
• Keep Property General Manager informed of all finding pertaining to Engineering Department.
• To be on call for any breakdown of engineering facilities on a 24-hour basis.
• Provide technical input, coordinate and supervise all project work within the property concerning QA/AC and final commissioning and acceptance.

Description of Responsibilities

• Generate, purchase and distribute necessary electric power required in the most economical and efficient manner.
• Produce, purchase, treat, and distribute water at temperature and conditions required in the most economical and efficient manner.
• Produce and distribute steam at condition and pressures required in the most economical and efficient manner.
• Supply, exhaust, clean, circulate, cool, heat, humidify, dehumidify air as may be necessary to maintain specified temperature, humidity and comfort in specified areas throughout the entire Property as designed and specified in the most economical way.
